Hello my friends, welcome to my
blog. Here you will learn basic Spanish and intermediate Spanish. Grammar and
Orthography.
Now let me tell who I am: My name is Claudia Schwinkendorf. I am a very enthusiastic Spanish Instructor, and I believe that I have the motivation and the academic skills to successfully contribute to your desire of learning Spanish. This blog can also help your child’s success in learning a second language. I've spent the last 9 years working full-time as a teacher that specializes in educational Spanish content.
I am a native of Chile. I was born there and lived there until I was twelve years old. Then my family moved to Venezuela. I emigrated to the United States into California over 18 years ago and I am now a permanent resident of Texas.
Recently, I completed a Master of Arts Degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at San Antonio. My undergraduate work was from the University of Los Andes where I received my Bachelor degree in History of Art. For me, education has been rewarding in the past and I still embrace a learning environment. I believe that learning is lifelong. My ultimate goal is to teach in higher education at the community college level or in a University setting. Hispanic Studies is important and vital as a knowledge base for anyone inclined to teach in subjects likes Spanish, Latin American Studies and policies of Latin America. I have a respect and admiration for all cultures, I do have a fundamental knowledge of Latin American culture and of people Hispanic. I feel strongly that I have the personal qualities of determination and persistence that will help in any foreign language program. I would be grateful and appreciative of the opportunity to help you with a second language. Please visit my blog.
