Demonstrate understanding of familiar vocabulary through physical response: pointing, manipulation of objects.
Demonstrate the ability to listen for specific information. (numbers of and address).
Verbalize basic need with simple word of phrases (I need paper, I need to go to the restroom).
Answer simple questions using a word or short phrase (What is your name?)
Identify people objects and actions with one or two words.
Give basic command and express caution using one or two word phrases (stop! look out! be careful!)
Engage in very basic conversational exchanges using learned phases: How are you?
